Performance“Abigail is a highly talented and versatile musician...”
Equally at home performing as a soloist or chamber musician, working with and leading orchestras or collaborating with pop and folk musicians Abigail’s “sensitive and passionate” performances can be adapted to any genre. Recent performances have included concerti by Mozart, Bruch, Mendelssohn, Bach and Arnold with orchestra, recitals with pianist Anna Tetsuya and the Benzaiten Ensemble string quartet. She has travelled to Tuscany and Callabria Italy as leader and soloist with the Angel Orchestra in collaboration with the Italian Maberliner Orchestra. In 2013 Abigail will be performing both in her home town of London and further afield in the UK and Europe including concerts and recitals in Wales, Sicily and Greece. Abigail is the lead violinist with the Chamber Academy Orchestra and Angel orchestras London, and last year was invited to guest lead the Sinfonia Tamesa in a televised performance on Sky1. She has performed and recorded with a number of artists including Rajko, James Wolff, Johnny Parry and Alex Cornish. In May she played viola in the string quartet accompanying American band ‘Big Star’ at the London stop on their tour at the Barbican centre, and with band member Chris Stamey at his trio acoustic London performance. Abigail is available as a violinist and violist to perform as a soloist, chamber or orchestral musician. She also enjoys collaborating with songwriters, pop and folk artists in creating new music. |
